Starbucks looks to protein drinks and other new products to turn around lagging US sales next year -
💨 Abstract
Starbucks is pinning its hopes on new products, such as a cold foam protein drink and coconut water-based beverages, to boost sluggish U.S. sales. While overall revenue increased 4% to $9.5 billion in the third quarter, beating expectations, same-store sales in the U.S. fell 2% for the sixth consecutive quarter. To tackle this, Starbucks held a major summit to motivate managers.
