💨 Abstract
In Bolivia, people honor Pachamama, or Mother Earth, with rituals led by spiritual guides like Neyza Hurtado. These rituals, particularly in August, involve offerings called "mesitas" containing sweets, grains, and sometimes animal fetuses. Devotees seek health and prosperity, burying the remains to unite with Earth. The practices, dating back to 6,000 B.C., celebrate the belief that humans must respect and sustain Pachamama.
