đ¨ Abstract
Water stress makes trees prone to damage from pests and diseases, particularly as summer approaches. One major threat is the emerald ash borer, identifiable by D-shaped exit wounds and peeling bark caused by woodpeckers. Arborists recommend monitoring ash trees and using pesticides to control infestations. Regular tree inspections are advised in the current conditions.
