Steve Hansgen, former bassist for Minor Threat and suffering from Stage 4 kidney disease, is hopeful about a potential transplant from a lifelong friend. Diagnosed in May 2024, Hansgen's condition is linked to his previous Type 2 diabetes but his health has been improving through lifestyle changes. His girlfriend, Holly Eney, launched a successful GoFundMe campaign.
