On July 1, 2025, numerous laws will take effect in Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. These legislations cover various topics, including technology regulation, education, and healthcare. Key laws include preventing minors from purchasing vaping products, limiting cellphone use in schools, and covering doula visits by Medicaid. Additionally, there are measures for banning Nazi graffiti, taxing tech services, regulating data centers, and establishing a tenant bill of rights.
