đź’¨ Abstract
The DC Council is set to vote on a $3.7 billion RFK redevelopment project, which includes bringing the Washington Commanders back to DC. After public hearings and debates, Councilmember Robert White indicated the project might not pass without significant changes, including labor protections and measures to prevent resident displacement. Mayor Bowser and Council Chairman Phil Mendelson believe they have the necessary votes.
