đź’¨ Abstract
In about two weeks, Affordable Care Act subsidies will end with no agreement on extension. This will increase monthly premiums for millions of Americans, particularly those older or with middle incomes. Options include switching to lower-tier plans with higher out-of-pocket costs, using health savings accounts, or adjusting income to qualify for subsidies. Some may even consider becoming uninsured. Those impacted include small business owners, self-employed individuals, and a significant portion of farmers and ranchers.
