💨 Abstract
The Virginia Court of Appeals allowed a case challenging Gov. Glenn Youngkin's voting rights restoration process to proceed. The Virginia NAACP's lawsuit, focusing on transparency in the restoration process, can move forward as the court ruled that the issue of attorney fees was not previously addressed. The NAACP had sought records on the restoration process, which switched under Youngkin to a petition-based system with unclear criteria.
