💨 Abstract

A trial begins for a former propane employee, Roger Bentley, charged with involuntary manslaughter in a 2024 Sterling, Virginia home explosion. A volunteer firefighter, Trevor Brown, was killed, and 11 others were injured. Bentley allegedly advised a homeowner to let a leaking propane tank release gas, leading to the explosion. Bentley faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
