💨 Abstract
Beginning on June 1, 2025, Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) and Delmarva Power customers will see an average monthly increase of about $16 in electric rates. The Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) has intervened to mitigate this impact by spreading the increase over six months instead of three. This action aims to prevent a sharp rise in rates during peak summer usage months.
