Four people were hospitalized and 14 others were evaluated after a carbon monoxide leak at the Ashore Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland. Firefighters responded to a detector activation and detected elevated CO levels. The cause of the leak is under investigation by building inspectors, the gas company, and the Fire Marshal's Office. Carbon monoxide, being odorless and colorless, poses significant health risks.
