💨 Abstract
A Montgomery County fire engine, in service for only a few months, was damaged after getting stranded in flash floodwaters in Silver Spring during recent thunderstorms. This is the second new county fire vehicle to be taken out of commission this year. The incident occurred while responding to a call for a vehicle trapped in floodwaters on East West Highway at Sundale Drive.
