💨 Abstract

In 2024, Maximus Devinney, 17, received a tech suit for swimming, significantly improving his performance and inspiring him to address the financial barriers in competitive swimming. Together with his brother Jay Cole, 14, and friend Natalie Sidawy, 16, he founded Waves4Change. This organization collects new and unused swim gear, including expensive tech suits, to distribute to young swimmers in need.
