đź’¨ Abstract
The leader of Maryland's largest school system, Montgomery County School Superintendent Thomas Taylor, has recommended revoking the charter of the Mecca Business Learning Institute (MBLI), a charter school in Bethesda focusing on financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Taylor cited failures in submitting corrective action plans, misinforming families, and issues with special education services. MBLI's operator, LaChaundra Graham, plans to fight the revocation, citing disputed allegations and ongoing state reviews.
