💨 Abstract
A salmonella outbreak linked to cucumbers has sickened nearly 48 people across 18 states, with at least 16 hospitalizations. The cucumbers were produced by Florida-based Bedner Growers and distributed to various outlets, including restaurants, hospitals, cruise ships, and grocery stores like Target. The outbreak follows a 2024 incident involving the same producer. Symptoms include diarrhea, fever, and vomiting. Severe cases, especially in vulnerable groups, may require hospitalization.
