Bernie Kerik, the former New York City police commissioner during 9/11, passed away at 69. Serving from 2000 under Rudy Giuliani, Kerik later pleaded guilty to tax fraud and served three years in prison. He was pardoned by President Trump in 2020. Throughout his life, Kerik faced a dramatic rise and fall in law enforcement, ultimately re-emerging in political circles.
