💨 Abstract
Incarcerated individuals from Oklahoma's Mack Alford Correctional Center helped a family trapped by storm debris in Blanco. The crew, supervised and vetted for participation, cleared trees to allow the family to leave their property over a week after a tornado struck. The Oklahoma Department of Corrections highlighted the community benefit and positive impact of such volunteer work.
