đź’¨ Abstract
Secretary Kristi Noem's claim that an undocumented immigrant, Ramon Morales Reyes, threatened President Trump has come under scrutiny. Investigators believe Reyes may have been framed to prevent him from testifying in an assault trial. Reyes' handwriting does not match the threatening letter, and he denies writing it. He is currently in custody, and immigrant rights groups are advocating for his release. The investigation is ongoing, with no criminal charges filed yet.
