💨 Abstract
The parole hearing for Erik and Lyle Menendez, who have been in prison since 1989 for the murder of their parents, has been rescheduled to August 21 and 22. Originally set for June, the hearing was delayed due to Governor Gavin Newsom withdrawing his request for a clemency evaluation following a judge’s resentencing, which made the brothers eligible for parole.
