đź’¨ Abstract
Nearly 50 years after California woman Jeanette Ralston was found murdered in her car in San Jose, a thumbprint on a cigarette carton led to the arrest of 69-year-old Willie Eugene Sims. Sims, a former Army private, was charged with murder after DNA evidence matched his profile. Ralston's body was discovered with signs of strangulation and sexual assault. The case went cold until advances in forensic science led to Sims' identification and arrest.
