💨 Abstract
Grant Hardin, known as the "Devil in the Ozarks," escaped from a medium-security prison in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Hardin, a former police chief, was serving sentences for murder and rape. He impersonated a corrections officer to escape. Authorities are searching for him in the rugged Ozark Mountains, using canines, drones, and helicopters. Hardin's escape follows a similar incident in New Orleans.
