💨 Abstract
A marijuana dispensary chain, Timber Cannabis, has agreed to pay $205,000 to settle a lawsuit alleging that management kept tips left by customers. The settlement, approved by a federal judge, will benefit over 60 employees. The lead plaintiff, Chad Underwood, claimed to earn up to $150 per shift in tips before the policy changed in 2024. Timber Cannabis denied any wrongdoing.
