💨 Abstract
Ramón Morales Reyes, 54, was released on bond after being falsely accused of threatening to assassinate President Donald Trump. Wisconsin authorities determined that Reyes, who doesn't speak English well, was framed by an alleged attacker, Demetric D. Scott, in a 2023 theft case. Reyes, who immigrated from Mexico in the 1980s, was detained by immigration agents and faces deportation.
