đź’¨ Abstract
Eleven dogs died while under the care of a California dog trainer, Tony Chun Sit. Prosecutors alleged that Sit and his girlfriend, Tingfeng Liu, attempted to cover up the deaths by dropping the dogs' bodies at different crematoriums. Both pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including animal cruelty and destruction of evidence. They are in custody on $550,000 bail each.
