💨 Abstract
Scott Brown, former Massachusetts senator and U.S. ambassador, announced his bid for the New Hampshire Senate seat, which Democrat Jeanne Shaheen is vacating. Brown previously challenged Shaheen in 2014 and lost. He criticized the current congressional delegation and incumbent candidate Chris Pappas, highlighting differences in policy views. Pappas responded by criticizing Brown's political stances. Brown's announcement follows Governor Chris Sununu's decision not to run for the Senate seat.
