💨 Abstract

Scientists discovered a surprising shape of the Oort Cloud, a region beyond Pluto, while preparing a planetarium show. The inner section of the Oort Cloud, composed of billions of comets, was found to have a spiral shape with two waving arms, unlike the previously believed spherical or flattened shell. This finding, published in The Astrophysical Journal, offers new insights into the outer solar system. The discovery was accidental, highlighting the importance of scientific accuracy in educational projects.
