💨 Abstract

The Metropolitan Opera's season attendance dipped due to decreased tourism following immigration crackdowns under the Trump administration. The Met sold 72% of capacity, missing its 75% target. International buyers accounted for 11% of sales, down from pre-pandemic levels. The average age of single ticket buyers was 44, and subscriptions accounted for just 7% of sales. Economic uncertainty also affected season ticket sales.
