💨 Abstract
A Swedish soprano, Nina Stemme, famous for her role of Isolde, performed the role for the last time with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Her 126th and final performance of the leading role in "Tristan und Isolde" took place on a Sunday and she plans to stick to less-indicated roles like Klytämnestra and Waltraute. Her final rendition was lauded by friends, colleagues, and the audience.
