💨 Abstract
The North Carolina Board of Elections, now led by Republicans, voted 3-2 to keep the Green Party as an official party in the state. This decision was based on the Green Party's nomination of Jill Stein in 38 states during the 2024 presidential election, despite her not being the official Green candidate in seven of those states. With this ruling, the Green Party will be able to field candidates statewide through 2028.
