💨 Abstract
This article was about California's policies allowing transgender girls to compete in sports. The Trump administration, under the U.S. Department of Education, has accused the state of violating Title IX by allowing transgender girls to participate in sports consistent with their gender identity. The federal government has threatened enforcement action if California does not change its policy within 10 days. California, however, refuses to budge and supports its current policies.
