💨 Abstract
Ramón Morales Reyes, a Mexican immigrant living in the U.S., was falsely accused of threatening President Trump's life. After being investigated, Wisconsin authorities determined he was framed by Demetric D. Scott, who forged the threatening letters to retaliate against Morales Reyes for a 2023 assault case. Despite being cleared in the threat case, Morales Reyes faces deportation for immigration offenses. His supporters argue that he is a victim of a hostile environment for immigrants.
