💨 Abstract
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has placed 139 employees on administrative leave for signing a public dissent letter criticizing the agency's policies. The letter, signed by over 170 EPA employees, accuses the EPA of failing to protect human health and the environment. The move comes amid broader actions by Administrator Lee Zeldin to cut funding for environmental protections and roll back regulations. The EPA stated that the action is a temporary measure pending an investigation.
