💨 Abstract
The U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals refused to remove Judge George O’Toole from the death sentence appeal case of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Tsarnaev's attorneys argued O’Toole was biased due to public comments, but the court disagreed. Tsarnaev was convicted for the 2013 bombing that killed three and injured hundreds, with his lawyers arguing he was influenced by his older brother.
