💨 Abstract
"Major wildfires in the western U.S. are creating dangerous 'fire clouds,' which generate their own weather systems. The 'Dragon Bravo Fire' near the Grand Canyon and another in Monroe, Utah, have destroyed structures and forced evacuations. These fires are producing pyrocumulus and pyrocumulonimbus clouds, which bring strong winds and downdrafts, making firefighting extremely hazardous. The ongoing dry conditions and red flag warnings indicate a prolonged threat."
