💨 Abstract
Cleveland Guardians' All-Star closer Emmanuel Clase, is now on non-disciplinary paid leave. The Cleveland Guardians is currently under going a Major League Baseball investigation concerning possible betting. Right hand pitcher Andrés Ortiz had already been held on a similar leave until August 31st. Clase becomes the second Guardians' player to be placed under this leave. The Guardians stated that no other players or club personnel will be impacted by the ongoing investigation.
