💨 Abstract
The Phoenix Suns fired Gene Traylor, who had filed a lawsuit alleging discrimination and harassment. The Suns cited policy violations as the reason for termination, while Traylor's lawyers claim it was retaliation. Traylor's lawsuit also alleges failed arena security tests and a pattern of discrimination. This is the latest in multiple legal actions against the Suns and the Phoenix Mercury, both owned by Mat Ishbia. Previous lawsuits have also alleged racial discrimination and unequal treatment.
