💨 Abstract
An independent autopsy revealed that an 18-year-old, Jabari Peoples , was shot in the back by an Alabama police officer in June. The officer claimed Peoples reached for a gun during a scuffle, but a friend contradicted this, stating Peoples was unarmed. Body camera footage and the official autopsy findings have not been released. The family's attorneys demand transparency, urging the release of the video and incident reports.
