💨 Abstract
On July 17, 2025, airstrikes hit the Holy Family Church in northern Gaza, injuring several people, including the parish priest, Fr. Gabriel Romanelli. Known for his close relationship with the late Pope Francis, the priest's church was damaged in what witnesses described as an Israeli tank shelling. The Israeli military had not responded to the incident.
