đź’¨ Abstract
The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) is advocating for changes to the SCORE Act, which aims to regulate college sports. USOPC leaders are concerned that the act's current form, which requires schools to sponsor at least 16 sports, may lead to underfunding of non-revenue sports crucial to the Olympic pipeline. They propose that schools maintain the current percentage of spending on Olympic sports.
