💨 Abstract
On August 12, 2025, a U.S. Army sergeant, Quornelius Radford, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and domestic violence for shooting five soldiers at Fort Stewart, Georgia. One of the victims was Radford's partner. The incident occurred on August 6, with all victims surviving. Radford faces potential life imprisonment. Fort Stewart soldiers received recognition for their quick response in restraining the gunman and treating the victims.
