💨 Abstract
A massive wildfire, the Gifford Fire, is spreading across over 100 square miles in Los Padres National Forest, California, threatening 450 homes and injuring three people. The fire, started by smaller blazes along State Route 166, is only 3% contained. Over 1,000 firefighters are battling the blaze amidst hot, dry conditions and anticipating strong sundowner winds.
