💨 Abstract
On August 9, 2025, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation identified the shooter at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as 30-year-old Patrick Joseph White from Kennesaw, Georgia. White died in the incident, and Officer David Rose of the DeKalb County Police Department was fatally shot.
