💨 Abstract
The Nepal LGBTQ+ community held its annual pride rally in Kathmandu. This year's event was significant as it was the first since the U.S. cut funding to the community. The rally commemorated family members who passed away and celebrated LGBTQ+ rights. However, the U.S. reduction in aid has forced the closure of many support centers, leaving thousands without vital services like HIV prevention and care. Despite this setback, activists remain optimistic about finding alternative funding sources.
