ESPN announced the launch date of its direct-to-consumer streaming service for Aug. 21, 2025, coinciding with Disney’s quarterly earnings report. The service includes all ESPN networks and options to bundle NFL programs, aiming to attract cord-cutters for $29.95 per month. Streaming usage surpassed broadcast and cable in the U.S. for the first time, with 44.8% share.
