In Charleston, West Virginia, a knife-wielding man was shot and killed by police in a hospital emergency room after attacking an employee. The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. on Friday at Charleston Area Medical Center. The suspect, who had sought treatment for an injury, became aggressive, wielding a knife and assaulting an employee before being fatally shot by an officer. The emergency room was locked down for two hours following the incident.
