💨 Abstract

A woman, Catherine Hoggle, with a long history of severe mental illness, was rearrested and charged with the murder of her two children, who went missing in 2014. She was previously charged but found incompetent to stand trial, leading to the dismissal of her case in 2022. Prosecutors reindicted her after her release from a psychiatric hospital.
