💨 Abstract
In New Orleans, court records from the 1950s to 1970s, including serious crimes, were accidentally discarded. Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill is demanding answers. Clerk of Criminal District Court Darren Lombard blamed the city's Public Works Department, found these records dumped and mixed with trash. Lombard is calling for a full investigation and has repeatedly sought funding for a secure storage facility, will see the city investigate the matter.
