💨 Abstract

Ukrainian and Russian athletes will compete in consecutive order in the World Cup men’s luge race in Lake Placid, New York. Andriy Mandziy of Ukraine and Matvei Perestoronin of Russia will start second and third, respectively. This proximity raises the possibility of interactions between the athletes and their coaches. The start order is based on the Nations Cup race results. Russia has three athletes competing as neutrals, aiming to qualify for the Milan Cortina Olympics.
