💨 Abstract
In Louisiana, a third person, Connie Weeden, was arrested for allegedly assisting inmates who escaped from a New Orleans jail last week. Police stated Weeden sent money to Jermaine Donald, one of the 10 escaped inmates. Weeden, arrested in Slidell, faces up to five years in prison. Five of the fugitives remain at large, while the others are detained without bail. Meanwhile, a jail maintenance worker and two others are also accused of aiding the escape.
