Caroline Garcia, a former U.S. Open semifinalist and top-ranked tennis player, announced her retirement from the sport. The 31-year-old Frenchwoman, who has won 11 titles and reached a career-high ranking of No. 4, will compete in her final tournaments, including the upcoming French Open. Garcia cited a long career spanning 15 years of high-level competition and personal challenges, including a battle with bulimia, as reasons for her decision.
